Walsh Construction seeks bids for City of Toledo Low Service Pumping Station

Walsh Construction encourages bids from all qualified subcontractors/suppliers including MBE and WBE firms for the City of Toledo, Ohio, Low Service Pumping Station Renovation until 11:00 AM EST, on May 5th 2015. Purchase Requisition Number 10001558

The work for which proposals are invited consists of: A new substation, new generator and switchgear building, storage building and a building addition to the existing Low Service Pumping Station (LSPS) building for electrical equipment. It also includes renovation of the water pumping systems, the electrical and building mechanical systems, along with renovations of the interior and exterior of the existing LSPS building. Work scopes include site work, concrete, carpentry, painting, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and trucking.

Copies of the bidding documents and contract documents may be examined at the City of Toledo, One Government Center, Suite 1970, 19th floor, Toledo or at the Walsh Detroit Office located at 3031 West Grand Blvd. Suite 640, Detroit, Michigan, contact: Vickie Abernethy at 313-456-6522. A CD containing the drawings and specifications may be obtained from the office of Purchasing and Supplies from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday thru Friday. A $500 deposit in the form of a certified check or cashier’s check on a solvent bank made payable to “The City of Toledo” will be required to obtain the CD. The return of the CD is mandatory and at the time the deposit will be returned to the vendor.
