OHIO TASK FORCE ON COMMUNITY-POLICE RELATIONS TO MEET APRIL 16 

COLUMBUS – The Ohio Task Force on Community-Police Relations will hold a business meeting to discuss potential recommendations on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the Fawcett Center at The Ohio State University. Gov. John R. Kasich announced the Ohio Task Force on Community-Police Relations in December after a series of incidents in Ohio and around the nation highlighted the challenging situations that exist in too many places between communities and police. The task force currently includes 24 members representing the governor, legislature, attorney general, chief justice of the Supreme Court of Ohio, local law enforcement, organized labor, local community leaders, the faith-based community, business, municipalities, and prosecuting attorneys.
