Entrepreneur-in-Residence pilot program being developed

The LeanOhio Office of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services is developing an Entrepreneur-in-Residence pilot program in accordance with Section 125.65 of the Ohio Revised Code. The purpose of the program is to strengthen interaction, coordination and outreach between state government and small business owners. As part of the program, a limited number of small business owners will be selected to work with the LeanOhio Office beginning in September 2015.

For a year, those selected to participate in this unique opportunity will receive Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training; will assist with Lean Six Sigma projects, events and meetings; will obtain an improved understanding of government programs, processes and resources; and will have opportunities to network with executives in multiple state agencies.

To ensure a diverse group of entrepreneurs, LeanOhio has asked the Equal Opportunity Division (EOD) of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services to assist with the selection process.

The application deadline is 5 p.m. July 10. For more information and to apply, go to  http://lean.ohio.gov/eir.
