Everette Taylor to speak at Ohio Municipalities Business Conference
Everette Taylor is a four-time entrepreneur, marketing executive, public speaker and writer. He currently serves as VP of Marketing of Skurt – the mobility company which delivers cars on-demand at the tap of a button. His entrepreneurial career started at the age of 19 with his first tech company which he sold 2 years later. Since then he has founded the award-winning marketing firm MilliSense where he served as CEO, co-founded and served as VP of Growth of GrowthHackers which has amassed 2 million users globally, and recently founded the company GrowthPup – which has grown into a million dollar business in less than a year. Taylor himself has grown a social media audience of over half a million people across all platforms.
His work also includes serving as CMO of the e-commerce company StickerMule, Head of Growth for new projects at Microsoft, VP of Marketing for Qualaroo which was acquired by Xenon Ventures, and as an advisor to We Are Onyx – a beauty box subscription service for women of color. Most recently he has become the National Brand Ambassador for NASA’s Technology Transfer Program.
As a public speaker, Taylor has traveled all over the world speaking about entrepreneurship, personal growth, and marketing. He co-authored “Startup Growth Engines” which was the #1 best selling book in “Startups” on Amazon. Taylor is also passionate about diversity in tech, serving as an ambassador to CODE2040, Black Girls Code, Teens Exploring Technology (TXT) and Wonder Women Tech as well as having his own scholarship fund for underrepresented college students.
