The Ohio Business Development Center (OBDC) will host its next Ask the Construction Expert session on Wednesday, September 16, from noon to 1:15 p.m.
Instead of a traditional class or webinar, contractors can reserve a private 15-minute virtual consultation and bring the questions that matter to their business.
Participants can get guidance on topics including:
- Estimates and bids
- Construction contracts
- Blueprints and specifications
- Project management
- Change orders and subcontractors
- Bonding and insurance
- Business certifications
- Government contracting
- Payments and cash flow
- Other construction-related challenges

Each appointment is private and focused on the individual contractor’s needs. Contractors can bring questions about a project they’re currently bidding, an issue they’re trying to resolve, or a business decision they need help navigating.
Participants will join the online session before their scheduled appointment and remain in the Zoom waiting room until it is time for their private consultation.
