Wastewater Chemist I- EXAM
The City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Wastewater Chemist I. To apply, you must first take the open competitive examination. The Wastewater Chemist I will be responsible for examining and analyzing samples of industrial waste, wastewater, stormwater, sludge, and other wastewater residuals for compliance with governmental regulations; performs related duties as required. To qualify you must possess a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, microbiology, environmental science, or a closely related scientific field, and a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
