Director’s Office – Information Systems Manager
The Department of Public Utilities, City of Columbus is accepting resumes for two vacant Information Systems Manager positions. Salary: $90,126 – $135,200. These positions will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of critical information systems within the Department.
Key duties include:
- Technical support and maintenance, including system administration
- System implementations, upgrades and replacements
- Coordination with Central IT (Department of Technology)
- Vendor Management
- Evaluation of existing and new software solutions
- Supervising and Training Information Systems Analysts to provide technical support
DPU relies on a variety of information systems to support critical business functions. Below are some examples of the systems that this position will oversee:
- Cityworks Asset and Inventory Management
- Oracle Customer Cloud Service (Meter and CIS)
- Oracle Field Service
- Project Management Information System
- Construction Management Information System
- Document Management System
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience in the development, analysis, and implementation of management information systems. Substitution(s): A master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer and Information Science, or a closely related field may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
