Ohio Certification Center opens to help women and minority gain business certifications

The Ohio Certification Center officially opens its doors to provide assistance to women and minority owned businesses in gaining certification and qualifying for contracting opportunities.  The Center will work in conjunction with the Law Office of Ambrose Moses, III and the Ohio Business Development Group to provide professional individualized services to small businesses. 

The Ohio Certification Center is operated  by The 912 Group.  The 912 Group is certified as a Minority Owned Business with the State of Ohio and City of Columbus. The company is also EDGE certified.


Ronda Barber, publisher of OhioMBE and president of The 912 Group, ltd, specializes in assisting minority, female and disadvantaged businesses gain certification with The City of Columbus, State of Ohio and the Ohio Department of Transportation.  She has over 15 years of experience guiding small businesses through the certification process.


“The goal of the center is to provide certification services in an effort to help small business gain more contracting opportunities,” said Barber.  “I have a proven track record of providing  effective training and technical assistance to small and minority businesses.  OCC can help take the mystery out of the certification process.”


Ambrose Moses is a lawyer who specializes in working with small businesses.  He will offer legal advice and counsel to Ohio Certification Center clients who need assistance with completion and documentation of their LLC or corporation.
