The Ohio Department of Transportation’s Division of Opportunity Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) will host the inaugural DBE Civil Rights Symposium in Columbus April 11-12, 2017. This two-day conference will focus on Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and will include Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) compliance and related topics such as “Small Business Bonding”, “Marketing”, “Supplier Diversity”, How to Do Business with ODOT” and more!
During the Civil Rights Symposium, 8 awards will be given to recognize outstanding contributions of DBE firms, Consultants, and Prime Contractors to the ODOT DBE Program. We invite you to nominate an individual or firm in any of the 8 award categories. Please note that self-nominations will be accepted as well.
