Columbus Airport seeks certified businesses for new Fairfield Inn and Suites

craaDo you have multi-unit housing or hotel construction experience? How about residential and commercial construction know-how?  Are you a building materials supplier?  If so, CRAA invites you to bid on the following trade packages.  CRAA is partnering with Continental Building Systems, the selected Construction Manager At-Risk, to build a strong, dynamic and diverse team in the construction of the new Fairfield Inn and Suites at Port Columbus International Airport. At CRAA, business diversity is at the core of how we do business.  Not only is this a better way to do business, but when we create strategic opportunities for small, minority and women-owned businesses, the result is a stronger Central Ohio region.

As an owner-agent, Continental operates with the same level of transparency in bidding and commitment to diversity, as you have come to appreciate from the Authority.  Likewise, the CRAA team is a decision point in that process, as well.  You can be assured that CRAA is committed to strong DBE, MBE, EDGE, and WBE participation and is willing to work with you to be successful on this job.

Below is a list of available trade packages that are due on Thursday, June 13, 2013.  All bids should be submitted to Continental.  If you have not previously registered with Continental, please do so by logging on to their website at www.continental-buildingsystems.com.  Click on the tri-colored gear at the bottom of the home page to get started.  After completing the registration process, please email Esther Panyik at epanyik@continental-buildingsystems.com  and inform her of your interest in the airport hotel project. Please note: While Continental’s standard Pre-Qualification Process requires a review of audited financial statements, that requirement can be waived on a case by case basis.
