Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library celebrates 1st anniversary. Offers free books.

Do you want brand-new, FREE books for your young child?

The Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library is celebrating its first anniversary this month as it continues to support early education across Ohio. Through our partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, we are working to ensure that every student enters kindergarten ready to succeed by putting more books in the hands of Ohio’s children, .

The Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library will mail your child a free, high-quality, age-appropriate book every month they are enrolled from birth until they turn 5 years of age.

Reading aloud daily to your child, now and for years to come, is one of the most important actions you can take to promote your child’s brain development and success in life.

The Literacy Cooperative manages the program in Cuyahoga County, Mentor, Mentor-on-the Lake, Concord Township, and Wickliffe, where it is available to every young child under 5. The program is now available in 78 of Ohio’s 88 counties. Check online for availability at ohioimaginationlibrary.org
