Inventory Control Manager – EXAM
The City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Inventory Control Manager. To apply, you must first take the open competitive examination. The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory control procedures that are specific to the site(s). It will oversee three (3) storerooms with a total value of $4.5 million and will provide supervision to storeroom staff. To qualify you must have Six (6) years of inventory control, warehousing, or storekeeping experience, which must have included at least two (2) years of supervisory or managerial experience. Substitution(s): Possession of a bachelor’s degree in one (1) of the administrative or social sciences may be substituted for four (4) years of the non-supervisory or managerial experience on a year-for-year basis. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is also required. Salary range is $27.81 – $41.73 per hour.
