House Democrats to outline police reform package

Reforms to increase accountability, address racial bias, improve community-police relations

COLUMBUS- House Minority Leader Emilia Strong Sykes (D-Akron) and House Democratic lawmakers will host a virtual press conference tomorrow, Tuesday, April 27, at 10 a.m. to outline their police reform legislative package for the 134th General Assembly, which will be focused on increasing accountability for law enforcement, addressing racial bias and improving community-police relations. They will be joined by Cincinnati NAACP President Joe Mallory.

The event will be live-streamed to the public on the Ohio Channel.
