RFP Opportunity: Supplier Diversity Professional

The Columbus Business Unit of Gilbane Building Company is seeking proposals from qualified candidates for a Supplier Diversity Professional to monitor the spend of diverse-owned small businesses and track labor workforce participation for an exciting Advanced Manufacturing Construction project in New Albany, Ohio. The estimated project value is $350 million (NDA required).

Scope of Services:

  • Collaborate with the Gilbane EI Manager and Project Economic Inclusion Lead to ensure accurate data reporting in the B2Gnow and LCP Tracker software systems.
  • Manage data entry and reporting for contractors and subcontractors, including up to tier 4, to capture expenditures and workforce participation.
  • Conduct trade contractor training to facilitate timely data gathering and reporting.
  • Ensure tier 2 and below vendors are entered by tier 1 vendors for awards and payments monthly in B2Gnow.
  • Verify workforce status in LCP Tracker monthly and use this data for reporting.
  • Create comprehensive monthly and quarterly customized reports to document DOSB and workforce participation against project goals, including an executive summary and data analysis.
  • Attend monthly inclusion meetings with the Gilbane Inclusion Team and present informed, data-driven reports.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Certified NGO’s (e.g., NMSDC, NVBDC, WBENC, etc.)
  • Previous experience working with the Gainfront platform reporting system.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a strategic diversity professional.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with construction management clients.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • Signed confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement with the RFP.

Project Schedule:

  • The project term is anticipated to be up to two (2) years, concluding by August 31, 2026.
