OBDC seeks to hire a virtual assistant

The Ohio Business Development Center (OBDC)—home of the Ohio Women’s Chamber of Commerce (OWCC)—is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about supporting small businesses and community development. This remote position supports daily operations and coordinates events, meetings, and programs across our growing network.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing emails, scheduling, and digital filing
  • Updating websites and online calendars
  • Maintaining the client database and contact lists
  • Assisting with event logistics and partner communication
  • Preparing reports, notes, and internal updates

Position Details:
💻 Remote – must be available during business hours (EST)
🕒 10–15 hours per week
💰 $1,250/month (contract position)
📅 Reports to: Ronda Watson Barber, Executive Director
