Your vote matters.  Take the time to research the various ballot issue and those asking for your vote.  Election Day is May 6.  Polls are open 6:30 am to 7:30 pm. Voters heading to the polls on Election Day need to remember to bring the proper form of ID to their polling place.  Don’t know to vote? Voters can check their polling place and precinct and get other important voting information by visiting www.MyOhioVote.com.
Here is a series of questions to answer anyone asking for your valuable vote:

  1. What have you done for minority businesses during your career?
  2. What black-owned businesses do you patronize?
  3. What do you promise to do for minority businesses if elected?
  4. Why should minority business owners vote for you?
  5. How important is minority business development to the overall Ohio economy?
  6. Are minority business set-asides and goals in state government still important and why?
  7. What can be done to improve purchasing with minority businesses?
  8. What should minority owned businesses do to get contracts?
  9. Is there anything else, aside from contracting, that the government can do to assist MBEʼs?
  10. What legislation or programming have you/or will you introduce to assist MBEs?

 

Our votes and dollars are power!  Use them wisely.
