Walsh Construction seeks bids for Westerly Wet Weather Facility Improvements

walshWalsh Construction encourages bids from all qualified subcontractors/suppliers firms for the Westerly Wet Weather Facility Improvements (Project No. 1387) until 11:00 AM EST, on October 5, 2016.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work (refer to Contract Documents and Section 01 11 00 for more information): Replacement of the Combined Sewer Overflow Treatment Facility (CSOTF) mechanical screens, conveyor, screen bypass gate hydraulic actuation system, ventilation improvements and related electrical and controls improvements; Replacement of drain piping and drive components in the CSOTF tanks and removal of submersible pump; Installation of plates and slide gates over the existing primary effluent channel openings; Addition of opening(s) in the plant effluent conduit; Replacement of the Primary Effluent Pump Station entrance platform; Replacement of the Administration Building roof-mounted HVAC unit.

Work scopes include: Demo, concrete, cast in place concrete, misc. metals, composite fabrications, FRP doors and frames, painting, HVAC, electrical, earthwork.
