Walsh Construction encourages bids from all qualified subcontractors/suppliers including WBE/MBE, SBE firms for the – (KRPE) KINGSBURY RUN PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING EARLY ACTION PROJECT until 12:00 PM EST, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017
DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work:
- SO-08 Site:
o Modifications to existing Regulator SO-08
o Construction of new regulator
o Existing sewer rehabilitation
- East 117th Street Site:
o Construction of new regulator
o Construction of new baffle drop structure
o Construction of two tunnels (21 LF and 43 LF in length) to connect proposed regulator to proposed baffle drop and to connect proposed baffle drop to existing tunnel.
- S-45A Site:
o Modifications to existing Regulator S-45A
o Construction of new manhole on existing culvert
o Construction of new manhole on existing sewer
- Excavation and initial support systems
- Site work
- Utility relocation
- Surface restoration
The project is located in the City of Cleveland in the vicinities of Kinsman Road and Kingsbury Blvd. (SO-08 Site), Kinsman Road and East 117th Street (East 117th Street Site), and East 149th Street and Spear Avenue (S-45A Site). Refer to the Contract Documents for details.
Work scopes include: demo, concrete, cast in place, misc. metals, flexible strip door, earthwork, concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, chain link fences and gates, planting, utilities.
