The May 17 OhioMBE Procurement Fair was a HUGE success. The City of Upper Arlington hosted it in its beautiful municipal building. Many thanks to Purchasing Manager Valerie Piccininni. Her hospitality was above and beyond. It was most appreciated by all in attendance. Fifteen women and Black-owned businesses met with organizations committed to supplier diversity.
Upper Arlington city officials stopped by to network with vendors and make new connections. City Manager Steve Schoeny attended with the assistant city manager. City Attorney Darren Shulman and Councilwoman Kathy Adams also participated.
The City of Upper Arlington, Columbus City Schools, Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority, Columbus Zoo, Gilbane Construction, National Church Residences, and Upper Arlington Schools sent representatives.
