Kai Peters has been recently hired as a Senior Commodity Manager, focusing on Supplier Diversity and Social Responsibility at The Ohio State University and the Wexner Medical Center. She is working to expand the program’s scope and connections to build a strong sustainable supply base reflective of the communities both the institutions serve. As the Supplier Diversity program evolves she will manage commodities with strong diverse businesses that could be contracted to support the medical center.
She is also working with the sustainability teams to move their initiatives and goals forward to take better care of our environment.
Prior to this position Kai worked for 16 years in sourcing managing direct and indirect materials for two leading technology companies in the manufacture of equipment and fabrication of semiconductor products.
Kai has her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois and her MBA from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University.
