On January 7, 2020, the Board of Education (“BOE”) of the Columbus City School District (“District”) approved resolutions to dispose of the following real properties: Beck, 387 E. Beck St., at the appraised value of $1,700,000; Clearbrook, 31 N. 17 th St., at the appraised value of $975,000; Douglas, 51 S. Douglas St., at the appraised value of $1,650,000; Old Starling, 120 S. Central Ave., at the appraised value of $1,230,000, and Stockbridge, 3350 S. Champion Ave., at the appraised value of $340,000. Pursuant to Section 3313.413 of the Ohio Revised Code, the BOE hereby offers the real properties for sale first to the governing authorities of all start-up community schools and the boards of trustees of any college-preparatory boarding school that are located within the territory of the District. Contracts will be accepted for a period of 60 days beginning
8:00 A.M. on February 3, 2020 and ending 5:00 P.M. on April 2, 2020. All offers shall be delivered to the Office of Real Estate, Columbus City Schools, 889 East 17 th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. If any property is required to be sold at auction pursuant to the requirements of Section 3313.413, the BOE will conduct an auction at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 3, 2020, at 889 E. 17 th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio.
