After two years of work, Councilmember Priscilla Tyson founder of the Commission on Black Girls is pleased to announce that the Commission will share their findings and next steps to ensure all Black girls in Columbus have equal access to opportunities for success.
The report is a culmination of the inquiry, “What is the quality of life of Black girls?” It is an in-depth snapshot of what can be summed up in a single word: the quality of life of a Black girl is “complicated.” This phenomenon can best be explained by the stories behind the statistics that will be shared at the report’s rollout.
