Division of Water – Engineer II
The City of Columbus Division of Water (DOW) is accepting resumes for a vacant Engineer II position. Salary: $72,605 – $108,884. To qualify you must have a valid State of Ohio certificate as a registered Professional Engineer and have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license. This position will be in the DOW’s Technical Support Section and will be responsible for managing Capital Improvement Projects and potentially supervising staff. Primary responsibilities include serving as a project manager for water supply / water treatment projects related to reservoirs, dams, water treatment plants, groundwater wells, pump stations, and other similar facilities. Prior experience with the planning, design, or construction of water supply / water treatment facilities is preferred. Training or experience related to civil, electrical, structural, building mechanical and other engineering fields or trades will be considered.
