Franklin County has received several OhioMBE Awards for its efforts to assist MBEs. Former Commissioner Marilyn Brown received the Publisher’s Award in 2016; Marliese Wicker received the Frank W. Watson Advocate Award in 2019; Joy Biven received the Publisher’s Award in 2019; Ken Wilson received the Publisher’s Award in 2020.
The OhioMBE Awards will be held on Oct. 28 at the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium. Tickets are still available at OhioMBEAwards.com
