Bridge Administrative Specialist
Franklin County Engineer Cornell Robertson is seeking a Bridge Administrative Specialist to coordinate, implement, and maintain the administrative processes and procedures of the Bridge Department. The pay range for the Bridge Administrative Specialist position is currently $30.89 per hour to $36.45 per hour.

- Implements all necessary procedures to keep accurate and thorough records to assure the preventative maintenance of all bridges and drainage systems are performed;
- Maintains inventory of materials, supplies, and tools and ensures they are charged to the correct job; • Manages all Bridge invoices (design and maintenance), prepares purchase order requests, purchase orders, and coordinates material testing;
- Establishes work specific work orders, creates work orders for collaborative projects, creates and inventories all Bridge projects (design and maintenance) in cost accounting system, audits and queries work orders and current and historical project costs in cost accounting system;
- Attends departmental and project meetings, prepares meeting agendas, and publishes meeting notes; • Participates with Planning & Programming Engineer to create cooperative agreements; • Coordinates pre-construction and post-construction meetings for Force Account projects, documents departmental goals;
- Coordinates Bridge maintenance and Drainage schedule;
- Coordinates plan review internally and with other agencies;
- Assists with and prepares departmental presentations;
- Creates photo record for all jobs from start to completion;
- Tracks and ensures completion of all signoff sheets, administers time and leave requests for all employees in department, reviews and tracks all leave requests.
