City of Columbus Health Department Renovation
Bids are due on November 7, 2022 at 9:00 am. Bids should be submitted to Proposals@elford.com This project includes renovating the 3rd and 4th floors of the existing City of Columbus Public Health Building as Administrative Office Space. HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical systems will be upgraded throughout the building as well. Approximate sf is 62,000. Limited work will be performed on the 5th and 6th floors including structural repairs, extension of new elevator up to the 5th floor and extension of utilities to the 5th and 6th floors for future renovations. Limited renovation work will be performed on the 1st and 2nd floors. The 1st and 2nd floor public and clinic areas must remain operational during construction.
There will be 2 phases of renovation:
- Phase 1 – Renovation of 3rd and 4th floors – 13 months
- Phase 2 – Renovation of 1st and 2nd floors – 3 months.
This project has an MBE/WBE participation goal of 25%.

City of Columbus Traffic Maintenance Renovation
Bids are due on November 8, 2022 at 10:00 am Bids should be submitted to Proposals@elford.com This project involves renovating the electronics repair section of the Traffic Operations building located at 1820 East 17 th Avenue. This project will remove several walls, create storage, reconfigure work bench areas, add two new offices, and replace antiquated HVAC equipment with undated equipment and controls. Current building codes will require some reconfiguration of the existing sprinkler system.
Demolition will include removal of two walls, removal of one roof top heating unit, and moving some electrical components such as disconnects. New work will include epoxy flooring, drop ceilings, drywall work, painting, door replacement, installation of storage racking, HVAC installation and balancing, installation of electrical and data at work bench sites, installation of work benches and office furniture, reconfiguration of sprinkler system, and other such work as may be necessary.
Project has an MBE/WBE goal of 9%.

City of Columbus Ulry Waner Park
Bids are due on November 7, 2022 at 3:00 pm Bids should be submitted to Proposals@elford.com This is a new project for the City of Columbus Recreations and Parks division. Trades/Vendors include: site work, site utilities, asphalt paving, concrete paving, playground protective surfacing, fencing, site furnishings, irrigation, turf/grass, landscaping, concrete, masonry, structural steel, misc. metals, rough carpentry, rough carpentry framing, glued laminated beams, finish carpentry, GFRP, fluid applied air barriers, metal roofing, cementitious siding, poly-ash siding, modified bit roofing, firestopping, joint sealants, doors/frames/hardware, glass/glazing, drywall/acoustic, tiling, painting, division 10 specialties, athletic equipment, simulated stone fabrications, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications and security.
This is tax exempt and prevailing wage rates apply.
