OBDC Construction Academy: Tips for Understanding the Specification Book – January 31

Daniel Odion, Lead Engineer with Ascension Construction Solutions, will teach the Understanding the Specification Book class on January 31 at 1393 E. Broad St. for the OBDC Construction Academy. The class will begin at 6 pm.

Daniel Odion obtained his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and MS in Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, with academic research, focus on Sustainable Infrastructure Materials. In Daniel’s 14 years of experience, he has worked on projects in the United States, UK, and Africa. His diversified engineering background has given him opportunities to operate in public and private sectors in various professional capacities, from engineering design to construction management. His vast experience has proven valuable in resolving construction risks with cost-effective and time-saving solutions. He has a track record of using best practices to excel in demanding environments while directing developmental project teams culminating in a successful deliverable.

His interests include mentoring youths, volunteering in charitable organizations, and reading
professional books, while his hobbies are playing soccer, watching movies, and cooking.
