Columbus City Schools – Columbus Preparatory School for Boys – Roof Replacement
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals will be received by the BOARD OF EDUCATION, City School District of Columbus, Ohio, Office of the Treasurer – 3rd Floor, 270 E. State St., Columbus, OH 43215 until 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 21, 2013, and will be opened and read publicly immediately thereafter for the Columbus City Schools – Columbus Preparatory School for Boys – Roof Replacement, according to the plans and specifications, prepared by J L Bender, Inc., Architects and Planners. The total estimated cost for materials and labor for the roof replacement is $900,000. Plans and Specifications may be secured from ARC, 1159 Dublin Road, Suite 300, Columbus, OH 43215, for a deposit of $50.00 per set. Payments shall be in the form of a check payable to the “Columbus City Schools”. A separate check for shipping must be included and made payable to ARC if requested. Public inspection may be made at the McGraw Hill Construction Dodge / Builders Exchange of Central Ohio Plan Room, 1175 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215, the Minority Contractors Association, 1393 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43203 and Minority & Independent Contractors Alliance, 1855 Refugee Road, Columbus, Ohio 43207. A pre-bid conference will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 10:00 am at the site: 3450 Medway Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43213, meet at the main office. Any written addendum will be sent to all plan holders. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty and contract bond meeting the requirements of Section 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code.
