Tennel Bryant founded Aunty’s Homemade Food with a love for food and family in 2004. The company has expanded to a full, food service provider that specializes in private label production, contract food management, distribution, and retail products. The company serves 25,000 meals weekly to students in the Cincinnati and Dayton markets.

Aunty’s Homemade Food’s recipes were passed down generation after generation. Each generation has had the chance to enjoy authentic flavorful food. “We have food unlike any other company in the industry and are creating our niche in the market place,” the company’s website boasts.

Aunty’s does not use any added preservatives nor do they process their food. Everything that leaves the kitchen is handmade from scratch, which enables Aunty’s Homemade Food to provide the best taste possible for a frozen food entree.

The company has earned certifications with the City of Cincinnati Small Business Enterprise; (EDGE) Encouraging Diversity, Growth and Equity; South Central Ohio Minority Business Council; Minority Business Enterprise; and is a Minority Business Accelerator Portfolio Member.

Prior to creating his own company, he played football with the University of Louisville, on a scholarship and graduated with a degree in sports business.
