Kokosing Industrial, Inc. is preparing bids for the City of Columbus Fourth Water Plant Site Preparation project in Columbus, Ohio which bids October 30th , 2024. The Project work includes general clearing, tree clearing, preliminary grading, and stormwater management to prepare site for Merchant Road Quarry (MRQ) Electrical Building and Substation and appurtenances; general clearing, grubbing, preliminary grading to prepare approximately 505 LF of the electrical ductbank corridor from the MRQ Electrical Building Site to handholes; general clearing, tree clearing and removal, and preliminary grading at the Fourth Water Plant Site (future Home Road Water Plant); gravel drive for cemetery, haul roads, around pits, contractor laydown area, north side of MRQ substation, parking along home road and CMT trailers; highway road entrance turn lanes into Fourth Water Plant (future Home Road Water Plant (HRWP)) Site; demolition of remaining surface structures and subsurface structures at the Fourth Water Plant Site (future HRWP); rock blasting, excavation, and removal at Fourth Water Plant Site (future HRWP); dewatering, major stormwater rerouting and provide stormwater retention ponds and outlets; 138kV Substation system including all structures, disconnect switches, bussing, circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, controls, prefabricated electrical building, and appurtenances at the Merchant Road Quarry (MRQ) Site; ductbanks, conduits, equipment, and material to connect MRQ Site electrical switchgear to Primary Electrical Building switchgear; Site maintenance of the Work area (including areas along SR745 to the west, MRQ site, and along Home Road to the north) such as mowing, dust control, snow removal, compliance with storm water pollution prevention plans and permits, spill prevention control and countermeasures plans, and for temporary utilities and temporary facilities, field offices, temporary controls, field engineering, and similar Work.
We are seeking quotes for any portion of the project listed that you are qualified to perform or provide supplies including the following: Fences and gates, seeding, asbestos abatement, above ground demolition, misc metals, electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (I&C), generators, monitoring wells, drilled shafts, photographic documentation, CMT trailers, masonry, and caulking.
