The Ohio Department of Taxation is continually seeking ways to enhance the customer experience. As part of this ongoing effort, they are introducing new changes to simplify the process of filing and paying business taxes.
Starting December 9, 2024, business taxpayers will be able to view their account status online through the OH|TAX eServices system. This new platform will allow users to check account balances, make electronic payments, and access transcripts and payment history.
The following tax types will be included in OH|Tax eServices:
- Sales and Use Tax
- Employer and School District Withholding
- School District and Individual Income Tax
- Adult Use Cannabis
- Natural Gas Distribution Tax
- Public Utility Personal Property
- Public Utility Excise Tax
