The New Change Agents: For the New Columbus Branch of The NAACP

As we swing into election season all over the country, the NAACP Columbus Branch is also gearing up for their elections to be held on November 8, 2014 – 10am – 2 pm at NAACP Office, 341 S. Third Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

“Vote” for individuals who will be “Change Agents” for you. They will continue the fight for equality, eradication of discrimination, and justice for all are issues that we must tackle when elected in November 2014 and take office January 2015.

Agents for Change – A NEW NAACP team that will agitate, communicate, educate, organize and mobilize!

The following individuals will be on the slate for officers of Columbus  chapter:

Julialynne Walker –  First Vice President,

Phillip Locke, Treasurer,

Sharnee` Jennings – Secretary

Kirk D. Turns – Executive Committee

John R. Peck, Jr.- Executive Committee

The slate of officers have been endorsed by Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, 3^rd District, Ohio.
With more than capable and highly committed leadership team, we are confident there will be a startling difference as we make a positive impact in our community.  There are too many issues that Columbus is facing for the NAACP to lie dormant.  We are the right team to move fresh ideas and an aggressive agenda forward
