Columbus City Schools seeks bids for the Abatement and Demolition of Ecole Kenwood PK-8

LEGAL NOTICE [br] Bids will be received through the State’s electronic bidding system at https://bidexpress.com until 1 pm, local time, on November 13, 2014, when they will be reviewed and tabulated, for a single general contract for the Abatement and Demolition of Ecole Kenwood PK-8, which is an OSFC program project (Project #: SFC-100286), based upon Contract Documents prepared by Fanning/Howey Associates, Inc. Submit all questions to Peggy Murphy, Smoot Elford Resource (T 614.253.9000; pmurphy@srsmoot.com). A pre-bid meeting will be held at 2:00 PM, October 30, 2014, at 1907 Leonard Ave – Suite 150, Columbus, OH 43219. LEDE, EDGE and domestic steel use requirements apply to this project. The total estimated cost for the work is $168,394.

The Contract Documents may be reviewed without charge during business hours at Dodge-Columbus, 1175 Dublin Rd, Columbus OH; Smoot Elford Resource, 1907 Leonard Ave, Columbus, OH and other plan rooms in the Central Ohio area.

Submit an electronic facsimile of the bid guaranty with the electronic bid form, as described in the Supplementary Instructions, and provide an original unaltered guaranty to the School District Treasurer within 3 days after the bid opening. The Bid Guaranty must be in the form of either a Bid Guaranty & Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier’s check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the bid opening.
