A few spots are available in the OhioMBE Procurement Fair

A few spots are still available in the OhioMBE Procurement Fair.  The following agencies/companies will be available to introduce your produce or service.  Each small business gets 10 minutes to meet with a representative.

Homeport focuses on affordable housing solutions and provides rental and for-purchase homes, financial education and social services for low-income individuals and families to help them succeed where they live.   Homeport’s services are provided through four program areas: Homeport Rental Living, Homeport Community Life, Homeport Home Ownership and Homeport Housing Advisory Center. Services include affordable multifamily rental housing and singlefamily lease-option homes enhanced by social service coordination and service referrals; new and renovated, quality affordable single family homes and condominium for sale.

Community Properties of Ohio (CPO) Management Services is the property management company for the Community Properties Initiative in Franklin County.  Low-income housing preservation project rehabilitates 1300 Section 8 affordable housing scattered site units in seven urban neighborhoods, focusing primarily around The Ohio State University and near east side areas. In addition, CPO manages several properties in other locations throughout Ohio.

Gilbane Construction – Gilbane Inc., based in Providence, Rhode Island, is one of the largest privately held family-owned real estate development and construction firms in the industry.

Smoot Construction/SER – With more than six decades of growth and experience in general contracting, design/build and construction management, Smoot Construction has created a legacy of excellence and a reputation for hard work and high standards. Now entering the third generation of family leadership, the Smoot Construction team is known for professionalism, quality of work and honesty—forging employee and client relationships that span decades.

Columbus City Schools – Ohio’s largest school district, serves the needs of more than 51,000 students in 109 schools.  They are constructing several new schools buildings.  The district has a budget of $800 million.
