CRAA announces news Business Diversity Manager [br] 

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority is pleased to announce Donald Robertson, Sr. as the new Business Diversity Manager.  His primary objective is to develop and implement innovative programs to increase economic opportunities for diverse businesses.

Don has over 20 years of successful development, implementation and management experience with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program and with local Minority and Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Programs. He was Director of Community Programs at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, responsible for managing the City’s M/W/DBE Program. He has extensive diversity consultant experience with compliance monitoring for corporations and local governing agencies; and with facilitating outreach events, educational seminars and workshops.

Don received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Webster University and a Master of Education from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.

Don is married to Willene Robertson and has two grown children, Donald Jr. and Danielle.  In his spare time, Don likes to fish and listen to music, specifically Jazz and Blues.

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority oversees the operation of passenger-focused Port Columbus International Airport (CMH), cargo-focused Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK), and general aviation airport Bolton Field (TZR). An independent economic impact study completed in 2012 found that the three airports and select businesses with direct ties to the Airport Authority account for more than 54,000 jobs, $1.8 billion in annual payroll and $6.6 billion in total annual economic output.
