AMHA seeks Assistant Contracting Officer

The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Contracting Officer with the implementation of a wide variety of contracting and procurement activities, including the administration of service and annual maintenance contracts, for the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority (“AMHA” or “Agency”). Incumbent monitors Section 3 compliance and prepares reports as needed to maintain compliance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (“HUD’s”) funding directives. All activities must support AMHA’s mission, strategic goals and objectives.
