Walsh Construction seeks bids for City of Piqua, Ohio Wastewater Treatment Plant

Walsh Construction encourages bids from all qualified subcontractors/suppliers including WBE/MBE firms for the – City of Piqua, Ohio Wastewater Treatment Plant until 12:00 PM EST, on June 8, 2017.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:

SCOPE OF WORK
A. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required and demolish, modify, remove and dispose of work shown on the Drawings and as specified herein.

B. Included, but not limited to, are demolition, modifications and removal of existing materials, equipment or work necessary to install the new work as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein and to connect with existing work in an approved manner.

C. Demolition, modifications and removals which may be specified under other Sections shall conform to requirements of this Section.

D. Demolition and modifications include Work associated with the:

1. Existing Operations Building as detailed on Drawings M-56 and M-57.
2. Existing Aeration Basins as detailed on Drawings M-60 through M-63.
3. Existing Raw Sewage Junction Chamber as detailed on Drawings M-l, M-3, and S-3.
4. Existing Chlorine Contact Tank as detailed on Drawings M-33 and M-34.
5. Existing Secondary Control Building/Future Sludge Thickening Building as detailed on Drawings M-48 through M-51.
6. Existing Digested Sludge Storage Tank/Future Aerated WAS Holding Tank and WAS Control Building as detailed on Drawings M-41 through M-43.

E. Blasting and the use of explosives will not be permitted for any demolition work.

Work scopes include demo, concrete, chain link fences and gates, landscaping, concrete, masonry, misc. metals, rough carpentry, roofing, overhead coiling doors, hollow metal doors and frames, ceramic tile, painting, glazing, conveying equipment, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.
