OhioMBE Awards Top FBE Nominee: Chelsea Treboniak

Chelsea Treboniak

Company: Critical Ops, LLC
Product/Service: Marco Program

Critical Ops specializes in effective communication. Their services include engaging workplace and workforce development training and exercises and curriculum production. The cornerstone of their operation is their patent-pending Marco Program, a high-intensity, peer-learning experience for participants to communicate and react to local concerns through open dialogue. This program is sold as an individual kit or a series to help individuals and businesses pursue stronger reputations, growth, and efficiency while minimizing risk from natural disasters, cybersecurity, and business disruptions. In this past year alone, their programs have been instrumental in positive outcomes resulting from active shooter, an armed robbery situation, and a spreading flu virus at a local elementary school.

Critical Ops, alongside their leader and female-owner Chelsea Treboniak, has been instrumental in creating awareness and impact-based conversations on a national scale. Regardless of the program they facilitate, participants always leave both well informed and fully committed to forward progress. Their topics are relevant and instrumental with options ranging from risk (e.g., emergency preparedness and workplace violence) to performance. Their efforts and evidence-based results make a stronger workforce, more resilient communities, and great future for all.

Critical Ops is highly engaged in the community and routinely “gives” back. Each contractual award associated with the Marco Program incorporates a “teach life a lesson” summary allowing for unlimited extensions of knowledge. This summary features interactive references and opportunities to create a more in-depth knowledge base while allowing each learner to accommodate their personal preferences to understand the shared information (e.g., the comforts of their own home, group settings with collective conversations). At the same time, all adult learning styles are accommodated with visual, auditory, and anesthetic options.

The Marco Program gives back to participants, and so does Critical Ops. Critical Ops volunteers to serve on the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Supervisory Advisory Board, the Supervisory Committee at SAFE Federal Credit Union, the 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) Goldman Sachs Alumni Committee, and ongoing research panels and committees for the National Academies of Science Transportation Research Board (TRB). They are members and engaged volunteers with the Greater Cleveland Partnership (GCP), the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and the Emergency Management Committee for the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE)
